Belvidere, South Dakota

Today we did our penance and got most of south dakota out of the way. Granted, this was probably the ride across the state. 70 and sunny the whole way, not much traffic or wind. In the past we have dodged thunderstorms, construction, extreme heat or cold, 45MPH headwinds, and for Chuck and Paul and Joan, hail snow and tornados.

It was still boring though.

This must be the weekend between the sturgis rally weeks. There are lots Harleys on the road, going both directions (and several not going at all - i think there were seven or eight breakdowns.
