That is Taipei 101 - the second tallest building in the world (the first is in Kuala Lumpur). This has 101 floors and stands 508 feet tall. We up there.
While we were waiting for the lift, Jennifer images using an iPad as a phone.
One view of Taipei.
Another view of Taipei, in a different direction. Amazing how the circular polarizer can improve photos ... if the conditions are right.
This is an interesting walking bridge over a wharf area - we saw lots of these "one-armed" bridges.
Here we are again ... following the GPS to get back to Dave and Yvonne's and we missed out turn, being sent down a busy street. Note this is not a walking street, but an actual vehicle street.
The next day we went to see Dave and Yvonne's business, The Burger Stop. It looks great - they have put a lot of time and effort into this. The burgers and shakes are delicious, too!
A sign in the restaurant.
One more example of crappy building codes. "Let's just run the wires anywhere!"
