Shihlin Night Market
On one humid evening we went to the Night Market. There are a number of them across Taipei, so just picked one. These are markets which pop up after work (6-8pm). We took the subway.
Snakes. Want snake blood?
The markets sell everything. One shop sold the following:
Shoes and bunnies.
Hamsters.
Cats.
Gold fish.
DId I mention they sold shoes?
Another shot of the market.
How about an umbrella with a gunstock?
The street consists of legit stores in the building, and local vendors who put thier stuff in the middle of the street. At one point something cause them to pack up. In less than 15 seconds (and I mean 15 seconds) they folded the sheets and ran off. All that was left was a monk.
How about some "food" ?
Oddly cut sweaters?
Another shot of one of the market streets ... there was at least five streets like this which makes up the market.
Grilled Squid!
Waffles in goofy shapes!
????
And eyeglasses without lenses.
